	1. Make sure there is enough urine in the test cup. Fill the cup to at least the upper O-ring. O-rings are in the isolation chamber next to the test strips. 2. Be sure the test cup has not been compromised. Two O-rings are visible and are about ¾ inch apart. If both O-rings are not visible, the cup has been compromised and will not work. Transfer the urine to a new cup and continue with the testing procedure.
	3. Engage the tamper-proof feature of the RapidCup. Place the lid on the test cup and turn the lid approximately one and one-half turns to the first stop. When the tamper-proof feature is engaged, you will not be able to remove the lid. Note: The drug test will not start until you completely tighten the lid (see step 4).
	4. Start the drug test. When you are ready to start the drug test, turn the lid to its fully closed position (approximately two additional full turns beyond the stop used to tamper-proof the cup). The lid will be in its fully closed position when it cannot be rotated in either direction and only one O-ring is visible in the isolation chamber.
	5. Make sure the test is started properly. Holding the cup so that the test strips are facing you, slightly tilt the top of the cup toward the right and tap the bottom edge of the cup on a flat surface twice. Return the cup to a level position. Note: The test strips will turn a pinkish color when the test has started. If any of the test strips are not turning pink, repeat step number 5.
